Reaching the Operator

Notices, questions, and requests regarding this site reach the operator at contact [at] xtrenchrun [dot] lol. That mailbox exists and is monitored. When sending a notice or request, provide the relevant details directly in your message so it can be reviewed.

Using the Contact Form

A contact form is available on the site. Submitting it stores the name, email address, subject, and message you enter. These messages are readable by site administrators and are kept until manually deleted.

Each submission also records the sender IP address and browser user-agent string. These technical details are used to rate-limit submissions to 3 per hour and to block abusive senders.

Game Reports and Content Notices

Every game page includes a report form. When submitting a report, you select a reason from a fixed list, which includes copyright, and provide a written description. Providing an email address is optional and is stored only if you choose to include it.

The form records the reporter IP address and a timestamp. The IP address limits reports to three per item per address per day. Each submitted report is stored with a status and is marked reviewed, resolved, or dismissed in the admin interface, which records which administrator handled it and when.

Embedded Games and Third Parties

This site is dedicated to the browser game X-Trench Run, which is playable on the homepage, alongside a small number of related games in 1 category: Airplane. This site did not build, develop, or publish any of the games it lists; they are embedded in iframes from third-party providers.

Those third-party providers set their own cookies and receive the visitor IP address, and this site does not control them. If a game stops working, it is deactivated.

Public Comments

If you leave a comment on a game page, the submission stores the commenter name, an optional email address, the text of the comment, the IP address, and the user-agent string. Comments are not deleted on a schedule; a comment stays until it is removed, and comments associated with a game are deleted if that game is removed.

Technical Logs and Inquiries

Playing games on this site never requires an account, registration, or a stored password. Inquiries regarding site logs or data handling should consider what the site records. Page views record the path, page type, game id where present, device class, referring host, never the full referring URL, and a timestamp, with raw page-view rows deleted after 3 days.

The visitor counter uses a hash of a secret, the date, the IP address, and the user-agent string so that no IP address is stored in the counter, and search logs store IP addresses only as irreversible hashes.
